General Conference Ideas Activities

http://lds.about.com/od/visualmusicalaids/a/bar_wrappers_3.htm This is a link to a website for candy bar templates. If you win Bingo (link after these words) http://lds.about.com/od/familyhomeeveninggames/a/fheg_bingo.htm and here are some markers for Bingo http://lds.about.com/library/bl/games/bingo_stickers_bw.pdf and here they are in color... http://lds.about.com/library/bl/games/bingo_stickers_color.pdf. Here are some more activities, just click on the one you want and a template should come up. Here is that link: http://lds.about.com/od/generalconferencegames/General_Conference_Activities_and_Games.htm also, here are some more things to do:
1. Make your own golden plates by cutting out tan/yellow paper, the height being 8 inches (20 centimeters, for those of you in Canada) , and 5 inches wide(12 and a half centimeters). Cut out about how many pages of paper you think you will need for the inside. Add the cover and back to that number of pages. Then you can call the book "The Plates of_____ (your name)". Take notes on these pages, and for extra fun, write in the language spoken in the Book of Mormon. ((E.g And now, I Anna, being commanded of the prophet and his councelors, sat on the couch and did watch many people of high glory speak. And I have written upon these plates the things of which they said that were appealing to me. And mine brethren and all my family did watch.) You can also make a game, before conference, by gluing the faces of people from the last Conference Ensign (not including those who have passed away.) Make the prophet be the end space. After every few or many spaces, write something either good or bad and if it was good write to move ahead so many spaces. If it was bad, go back so many spaces. Save a few people for the characters that move or make your own. Here is a template for the last picture sorce (there are two pages) http://www.lds.org/Static%20Files/PDF/Magazines/Ensign/English/2007/EN_2007_11_00___00611_000_000.pdf
and here is the second page... http://www.lds.org/Static%20Files/PDF/Magazines/Ensign/English/2007/EN_2007_11_00___00611_000_000.pdf a lot of these are on Adobe Reader. But anyways, the best way to keep the gameboard in good condition is to 1, Laminate it, 2, Mod-Podge it, 3, Put it on posterboard and glue very nicely. To keep player parts from getting ruined; 1, Laminate, 2, Put on posterboard. The players will have to be very small. Move by rolling a die. You can make your own if desired.
