Artistic Pancakes

Ever wondering how to teach your kid to cook, tell shapes, and have some good time with he or she? Make artistic pancakes! You can make a square and let him/her watch you and then ask them what shape it is. Also make other shapes too. You can also tell them, if they are old enough to remember things and are interested in the lesson, that the pancakes change from dough to pancakes through a chemical change. Anyays, I Anna did this with Pierce and he seemed to benefit from it somewhat. It's exciting that he know the difference between a square and a rectangle. Talk later! Anna
