Okay, well it's not really that interesting, but on Saturday morning our smoke/carbon monoxide detector went off. Since the replacement batteries we put in out of a toy car didn't work, my mom ran to the store to get some new batteries! But what do you know, they didn't work! So we kind of ignored it but it wouldn't stop going off. There was absolutely no smoke so my mom thought it might be carbon monoxide so she called the fire department to see how to check, but the fire department just came over anyways. They ripped our thing out of the ceiling and told us everything was fine- the detector was just broken. They took it with them and left. All this happened about 9:00 and none of our neighbors even noticed the fire truck! It's always nice to know your home is safe.
I know this story is dull, but I posted it anways.
