The twins had another great birthday this year. They turned five! Their birthay was this past June 10. They got tons of toys and things. They had a water party and we had twelve kids plus them there. It was crazy. Whenever we tried to do an activity it got crazy and kids would want to be the one to finish the water relays. Since the weather was kind of bad at first, we didn't play too many games outside but instead we tried to play some games inside. We had cake and ice cream and then let the kids go outside and play with the water guns and beach balls we gave them. One of Pierce and Garrett's best friends' mom forgot that the party ended at 12 instead of started but since she liked the twins so much she came over and played with them after the party. Another kid also came over at like 1:30 because his grandpa thought that that was the time that the party started. They got lots of presents. Later that day we had Paul's birthday party as well. I made them a treasure hunt that was so hard that they accidentally found a clue that they weren't supposed to before they could find the real one. I made it in rhyming couplets such as : This is a place where you jump
If you land wrong, you might get a bump(on your head)
I made lots of other ones too. They finally found the treasure in a little plastic car. They watched a movie and then my parents presented a suprise to Pierce and Garrett for their birthday: two new baby kittens! Our Grandma Bryner's cat had kittens about 6 weeks ago and it just so happened that you were'nt supposed to give them away until they were at least that old and the twins' birthday was that day! We got the two boys out of the group that look just like their mom: orange and white fur. We've had tons of fun with them. The boys at Paul's birthday party made them houses out of Mega Blocks and I made them a bed by (cross stichting?) their names on Fabric and cutting out their blankets and putting down soft stuff. The kiddies have really liked their bed and their mega blocks house. On the second day, we built another house for one kitty and gave the old one to the other. Then we made a tunnel for them to use to get to each other's houses. The kitties love to play together and kept on running through the tunnels into each other's houses to wrestle. We find it hard to separate them when they are wrestling. We had to break the tunnel so we could get them out of there and since the kitties couldn't use that anymore,, they would crawl up the house wall and then jump out to each other's houses. We've had tons of friends over that want to see the kitties. I've also been renevating the Webkinz house. One half of it got ruined when the boys knocked it over and tore it off to get a kitty. I've added new walls, beds, painted, and more. I think it will be much stronger now. The kitties like to go in it when nobody is around. I guess I should tell you their names. The one with the less orange is Luke and the other one is Hermes. Yes, Luke and Hermes are funny names but we like them. We named them after people in our favorite book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Anyways, I just thought I would give you an update on our life- hopefully I can start posting more.
