Our YARD

We are FINALLY getting our yard done! It's been nothing but dirt and weeds (mostly weeds) for the past four years. Right now all we're doing is pouring more cement to extend our patio and also planting grass, but at least we can actually go outside and run! It's been delayed just a little bit because of bad weather but we'll probably have grass growing sometime in May/June. Our whole family has been excited for this day! This Summer, we'll actually be able to play our 8:00 games of Capture-the-Flag around Our house. It will be fun!
Another neat thing about our yard is our "club" or "fort" in the backyard. It's where for some reason the dirt and ground is a whole lot lower. There are lots of trees surrounding our fort so it's kind of hidden. We've made stairs in it that lead down into it. It's really big and we have a storage unit, a "rain fort" (where we have arranged cardboard and other thing on top of the trees, sheltering us) and other things. It may not sound WAY fun, but it is WAY fun. We're going to make a table and other things out of scraps we've found around the fort and in the yard. We're also working on the Bathroom but.... it's not quite done yet. Anyways, whenever you're in Price, come visit us and our fort. You won't want to leave!

It will be so exciting to have your yard done! I bet you have fun playing capture the flag. I wish there were enough kids in our neighborhood for our kids to play. Maybe you can teach them this summer.

We will HAVE TO teach you this summer! It will be better with you guys because in our neighborhood we usually (not our family but a few specific kids) get into arguments about boundaries, rules, and etc. But yeah, that would be fun. We taught Emma and Sara how to play when we went down to visit them and they enjoyed it.
