St. George Trip

We went to St. George because my dad had to go to a Utah State Bar Convention. No, it has nothing to do with a beer bar or USU.

The first place we went was to the Fiesta Family Fun Center. My dad bought the older three kids special passes where we got two Amusement Rides (We chose Bumper Boats and Go Karts), 10 Tokens for Arcade Games, Unlimited Mini Golf, Pizza and a drink, and a pass to the "Soft Play" area. Originally, the plan was for my mom to drop us off and do who-knows-what? with the twins, but when she came inside to drop us off, she bought the twins and Ali a pass to the "Soft Play" area. We had a great time! My favorite part was the Go-Karts. I got to drove, and Paul was the (un) lucky passenger. I had never driven a Go-Kart or anything similar before so it was a new experience for me, but I turned out to be a really good driver and began to trust my eye-hand-coordination which Paul kept encouraging me to use even if I didn't have any(I brought it up that I didn't have any, but he still insisted on making me trust it). James rode with our supervisor, Loch who liked to be called "The Lochness Monster". He was really fun and a cool supervisor. Also in our group were two other kids named Spencer and Hampton who Paul and James became close friends with. We later learned that they were staying in the Abbey Inn (just like us) and were planning to go swimming as soon as they got home. We too were going swimming when we got home (even though we didn't get home for about an hour and a half later than them) but they are very active kids and were still swimming when we got to the pool (and when we left!). We even had a game called "Steel the Gold" we played with them where we used Paul's new toy he had bought with his many tickets (see picture below) at the arcade and threw it around to our teammates, trying not to let the other team win. Basically, it was me and my dad against everyone else who played. This equalled FUN and TIREDNESS. Anyways, here are some pictures of the arcade. I'm sad I don't have Bumper Boats pictures to post, but luckily John Carpenter's (my dad's law associate who came to the Utah bar convention with him) wife took some pictures of us. The Bumper Boats were almost as fun as Go-Karts. We could stear them and spray water at each other. SO NOW, HERE ARE THE PICTURES!

Here are some pictures we took outside of the building my dad was at the convention in. Yes, I know, it looks like a rain forest.

I know, I actually do look like I'm in Miami for a Dolphins game!
Our crazy family!

After St. George, we headed down to Las Vegas, where 1/2 the kids in our family were born. Here are some pictures of us playing outside and enjoying the warm weather with our cousins:
What cute cousins we have!

We also went swimming at the hotel's pool and so I wil possibly post those pictures later.
