Update on our Family

By Anna Bryner
Well, Alexandra is really cute as usual. Last night me and Paul had a sleepover at our friends' house, the Engars. Last night, there was a enormously huge fire really close to our coldasack. If you know our street, if you go on I think it is the left side of our coldasack there are two trailers. The one that burned was the second one over. Luckily, the fire didn't spread. At the Engars you could see the fire really, really well. Lauren, my friend who invited me over for a sleepover, was talking to me when Paul saw the fire outside. I immidiatly told Lauren who went storming up the stairs in her house and shouted "FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Her parents thought that there was a fire in their house but Lauren pulled down the blinds and then her parents saw. Her dad went out and met the guy who it was happening to. He said that he had been having electrical problems and then something started smoldering or something like that. He called 9-1-1 and told them about it and then he got out of the house. The fire got soooooooooooooooooooo big later! It was humongous and there were these big electrical things shooting out. The fuse box lit or something so it looked like blue lightning shooting out. It was scary and we felt so bad for the guy. He got out with his cats and there was nobody else there so nobody got hurt luckily. Me and Lauren made Valentines for our classmates while we watched the fire a little bit and talked. We had a good sleepover, but Annika, our friend, laughed for about an hour and a half non-stop for no reason!!!!!!! She just started laughing and then laughed more because she didn't know why she was laughing and then there was other crazy stuff too. Well, eventually she stopped but the weird thing was when we turned out the lights to tell jokes, she hardly laughed at all. But anyways all is well. Alexandra is cute and smiley and was sooooooooo cute this morning when I got back from Lauren's house. She makes really cute cooing sounds. Also the pinewood derby was this week. Paul's car did quite well. He lost to the first place winner which eliminated him but he didn't ever get to race the second place winner so if they raced in a different program type thing, maybe he would have won second place. Pierce put a wheel and some nails in the toilet and blamed it on Peter Pan. Finally, my mom used my idea and called the neighbors to see if they had some old wheels to borrow. They did luckily. They saved the day!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Hansens! Paul was really glad that they did because that would have been so boring not to race and not to be able to race his fast car. Well anyways, call us soon. P.S. President Hinckley's funeral was good too. We watched it on TV.
