Though I look like I could deliver any day, we do not expect our little princess for another month-and-a-half. We ought to start preparing!
Everything is great for us right now. We just finished a month of passing around strep throat, sinus infections and a nasty GI virus, so things are looking up. James started kindergarten last week and he absolutely loves it. He gets on the bus with Paul and Anna at 7:45 and then the bus brings them back at 3 p.m. He loves riding the bus as it is full of kids from our neighborhood with whom he spent the summer. Anna has begun 5th grade and has a wonderful teacher, Ms. Hunt. Paul is now in 3rd grade and has a great teacher also, Mrs. Martinez. It is quite a change for me to only have the twins at home all day. Today I took them to the doctor for shots and I didn't have to make any arrangements for other kids. It was strange. Hopefully I will be able to put the next seven weeks to good use potty-training the twins and perhaps finishing our play room downstairs.
I had my first canning experience Saturday when I made some salsa. It actually turned out very well. Christian took Anna to the BYU vs. Arizona game in Provo and they had a blast. Afterward they went to eat with Bryan at Wingers and saw Jan Jorgensen, a BYU star from Helper and his dad. Anna thought that was pretty cool also. They didn't make it home until 11:30 p.m. but I didn't hear any complaints.
